Uninstal = Lose rank?

Ok so PB problems started this morning tried to fix it, now i cant even get into multiplayer, question is if if i uninstall and re-install am i gonna lose all my XP and perks?

unless you backup ur mpdata folder.

Just to be clear, "mpdata" is the file you need to back up, not a folder.

The default folder pathway is: C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\players\profiles\<your_profile_name_here>

thanx for the tip.. ive alrady lost my rank and perks from reistalling. now i wonder if thers any way to get it all back.. other than all those hours of play building rank?

i would hate for ppl to lose all thier stuff when it can be backed up so easierly.

Whenever you're uninstalling, just make sure "delete profiles" box is unchecked, that way you can still keep your rank. Otherwise back up the entire Profiles folder to keep your saved games and rank before uninstalling.
