Back to BF2 after an extensive break

So I am getting back into BF2 now... I used to play religiously before I deployed to Iraq, then I came home and got into other games but I just reinstalled and am working on patching. Is it the same game? What might have changed while I was gone? I definitely have missed the game and am looking forward to strapping into my helo again. :salute:

i just reinstalled 3 days ago too after playing 2142 but all i know is that the latest patch is 1.41

Damn patch is taking forever to apply. I was running version 1.11 before... /sigh. I just want to play! So does everyone still play straight BF2 or is everyone playing the expansions more? I sadly don't have the expansions.

Not many expansions, mostly vanila BF2. And a lot of great mods out there, Project Reality mod is awsome, try it.

1.11? :laugh: a lot has changed. Choppers are still the best, if you want to try to catch up you should play with me. Probably the biggest chopper whore on the forum. Sloi and Pred don't compare :p
