DVD problems

I downloaded the CoD4 demo, it worked pretty good on my computer. I bought the game and when I went to install the game I had a real hard time getting my DVD-rom to load the disc. I took CoD4 out of the DVD player and put BF2142 in to make sure my DVD player was working fine, which it was. I then put CoD4 back in and it started right up. It installed fine yesterday, but when I went to go play the game today for the first time, my DVD player kept trying to load the disc again with no results. I tired putting BF2142 back in and BF2142 worked fine. When I put CoD4 in the DVD player, it still would not load.

Any ideas on what could be wrong?

I'd try one of those cd lense cleaners first, something similar to this, also try your dvd in a friends pc dvd drive, if it works fine then that might suggest that your drive is on it's way out.
