Last Mission on Single Player

I was talking to a clan mate about the single player on CoD4, he was talking about the last mission, "Game Over" when he said "I wonder what happens if you hit the helicopter with the RPG." This got me thinking, has anyone successfully done that, because it would drastically altar the ending, and lead to a completely different story. i tried it about 6 times but couldn't do it, so I am asking you guys.

Anyone done it?

The helicotper is indestructable, I've tried doing it with the bottomless cip cheat and filled the whole area infront of the helicopter with rockets, I even did it in slow motion and I definately hit it a couple of time.

Nothing happens to it.

yeah sadly that chopper is one of the new Russian indestructible choppers
