BF2142 Is Dead - CoD Anyone?

This is gonna sound like a whiner post.. because it kinda is..

Since the patch i was pumped for shotti and scar11 action.. played for a the first few hours, not a hitch was awesome. Now when i come online, my favorite servers are lagging to pieces, i can never connect, and get disconnected every 5 seconds. Any1 else experiencing any of these? and no, the servers arent running HT just stock maps like Gilbratar. Personally my mind is telling me to move on and just whore CoD4 but for some reason i cant stop trying to connect to laggy servers :S
I think its because ive made quite a few friends on BF and in the TGN community.. any of you have CoD4? maybe could get a server started up or something? *Whine Whine Whine*

I have no trouble finding tampa servers. The problem is staying connected to tampa servers for more than 3 rounds

The only problem I find when I play is when there aint sufficient amount of players on the other side

Played CoD4 for a while, but IMO it doesn't hold a candle to BF2142. I find it a rather 2 dimensional death match compared to BF2142 with no team play. The guns are neat though.

2142 going strong for me. I kind of see COD 4 as Battlefield lite. Nice graphics but without vehicles, infantry only gets kinda boring.

You are lucky because the last 2 days I have had alot of CTD and worse than that computer freeze up. Like the game.... but tired of the BS patches which create more problems than they cure. Speaking only for myself......

With the death of pod surfing, I've been playing CoD4 exclusively (I got Crysis the same day and all I've done is install it).

I like the lack of stats, I like that you don't have to watch your back non-stop to avoid being knifed, but CoD4 has got it's own problems.
