Wait for the new 8800gts's to be released next month. Apparently they will offer Ultra detail and beyond. However,i wouldn't be surprised if they were called the 8900's.

looks like its competing with the 88GT but the GTX outperforms it meh guess ill wait for the 9 series Nvidia never really liked ATI that much.

8800GTS the new ones but i am leading towards the GTX to hold me for now

Review of new 8800GTS (it's called 8800GTS SSC):

And if somebody doesn't know yet, 8800GT and 8800GTS SSC are the new G92-series boards.

Unfortunately no. New 8800GTS is slightly better then old one. 8800GT even beats this in some games.

About ATI: there are 2 new cards, 3850 and 3870 (ATI R670 chip). 3870 is almost as good as 8800GT and 3850 is better then 8600GTS.

Top level cards (better then 8800Ultra), like ATI R680 (probably just dual-chip R670) will come not earlier then January 2008.

No, Crysis as a game is apparently a let down of epic proportions. Its more of a benchmark than a game. But, i imagine it would do ok as long as my resolution wasn't too high.

Wrong. There were 2 GTS cards coming (dont know why its just silly) the 640MB version ive not heard much more other than that article, the 640mb GTS on the G80 chipset wont be much better than the current card however the 512mb will be on the new G92 chipset same as the current 8800GT, the newer of the 2 GTS's is the one supposed to rival the Ultras.

                              The original image i saw(below),

But now it seems there is perhaps 5 versions getting released,

So, we got five different version of 8800GTS totally:

                              8800GTS G80 90纳米 96SP 320bit 320MB ( Integrated VP1 engine)

                              8800GTS G80 90纳米 96SP 320bit 640MB ( Integrated VP1 engine)

                              8800GTS G80 90纳米 112SP 320bit 640MB (Integrated VP2 engine) ( Nov. 19)

                              8800GTS G92 65纳米 128SP 256bit 512MB(Integrated VP2 engine)(Dec. 3)

                              8800GTS G92 65纳米 128SP 256bit 1024MB(Integrated VP2 engine)(Dec. 3)
