Downloaded PB setup, ran it, it updated, still getting kicked

Thread title says it all.

I killed all of the punkbuster processes on my computer, than ran PB setup, it said update complete, then rebooted, went into game, and am still getting kicked.

Same thing happened to me. I reinstalled pb from the COD4 DVD and it works fine now. No idea why that worked but give it a try.

I used to have a similar issue with BF2, I disabled my firewall and it worked ok.

Same here. Ran pbseteup.exe, it found and installed an update, went back into game and we're (all my clanmates) still getting kicked from the server with a message telling us to manually update PB (erm we just did thanks..)
