What's the downside in playing at servers with PB disabled?

Ya I went for a full reinstall and then could not download pb.exe so I did a
system restore which brings me full circle.

I did read this...

" Saturday 11.17.2007 [8:00PM]

Version 2.009 of the PB Client for COD4 has been released to our PB Master Servers for auto-update and to our website download page. This is a maintenance release. "


And also in their FAQ it mentions if you use a Linksys router it needs a
driver update. ( I happen to have that router, do any of u??)

I have a linksys router, but I never had this problem before.

Yay, it works :) (I created a server and got PB to update that way, hehe)
