Yes, Voice chat is useless, unless though for the 360. Then it'll pwn.

Whats is the dead silence perk? Is that the one were you like move, and you can't hear footsteps?

Ranking system and prestige mode. They made some pretty serious errors by making the ranks so easy to get. 4,000 points between the highest ranks is quite silly. They made an even bigger mistake by storing stats locally, they need to develop an account system. It seems like they just took the short way out.

What i'm about to say, needs to be stickyed.

IW, made a video or comment about ranks earlier in the year. They said, they did NOT want to have Ranks like BF2 were it takes 10 months to be a high rank. They wanted people to rank up fast and easy, but have fun while doing it. Stored local? No big deal, back-up your folder and save to a USB Driver, or on your clans FTP. If you still think having to back-up your stats, then by all means. Go play BF2142 where there is 100's of bugs waiting for you.

I don't mind the stats being stored locally. That means you don't have a stats website like for BF games and stat whores can still whore for stats, but who cares if only they can see it?

Damn, if ranks would be as hard to get like BF2, CoD4 would turn to s*it. At least ppl can focus on other things than ranking up and keeping that KD ratio up atm.
Good thing about CoD4 is that noone gives a fcuk about the ranks as they are so piss easy to get.

im going to agree with that, i've heard probably 3 people use in game VOIP since the game was released, and even then their voices sounded scrambled and scratchy.

I could not agree more sure they could have made it the ranks bit hard to get but the wey it is almost perfect. I do hope they will come up whit more patches for this great game and maybe add some more maps and maybe some more weapons.

Maps will be made by the community. Weapons I dunno, seems like there are enough already.

I don't think " single shot assault rifles " should be up there. Are you aware of how much recoil the real m-14 had when fired on full auto? It was impossible to control, and you needed arms of steel to hold that baby in place. I'm happy that they made the m-14 single shot.

And as for the G-3, they made it single shot to keep it balanced, since its' very accurate and powerful, a full auto one would either have insane recoil, or be super overpowered.
