Spec mode

With us been a mohaa clan we are used to been in spec mode and able to view all players, is this possible in cod4 as i can't seem to get this to work at all
When i enter spec i cannot move forward etc or follow anyone is this the way it is for everyone
Btw this is in s&d gametype

You have to turn spectating to "free" instead of "team only"/"disabled"

Would this only work for Spec mode then i don't want people to be able to view the other team when dead too

You're joining the "Spectate" team right?

Edit: Ok I tried testing it locally, and it seems the only way to move freely while a spectator is by having it set to "free" when I started the server. Even when I changed scr_game_spectatetype to 2, it wouldn't let me move.

Maybe somebody else knows what the problem is...

Yes correct

I want to be able when in Spec mode to view anyone/everyone (select team "spectator")
also when in dead mode to view my side only not the other side

no matter what i have tried i cannot get this lol

any info would be great please
