Punkbuster VALID message during normal gameplay ?

I've noticed a yellow Punkbuster VALID message popping up on screen every now and then when I play multiplayer, is this normal behaviour ? I'd prefer not to have that particular message displayed if possible.

When i launch multiplayer i get a message informing that PB is not initialised. I check the PB box in multiplayer options but it doesnt save, why is this?

Nope, I get a blue massage saying PB Distress, couldn't authenticate player or something like that. Very annoying. Maybe that's why I was lagging so bad yesterday.

Thanks for that, I also got your blue pb message today, it didn't seem to interfere with the game though.

Their new update screwed everything up. I hate it when they give unnecessary updates which instead of making things a lot better, make it worse instead.

I downloaded the update patch but held off installing it, I'll wait a bit longer I think.

If it were unnecessary, i doubt they would have spent time developing it. They don't intentionally make an update to ruin the game :laugh:

They could at least test it to see if it actually is worth releasing

But don't you think that PB is supporting too many games now? If they only had one or two games with awesome support that would be a lot better than compared to almost 20 games with crappy support (I know, I know...$)
