Need urgent help please

hello gentleman

I been playing this great game now for more then one week and i dint not come cross any problem.But today i have started the game and it played fine like always till i left one server and vent it to look for different one,theni my game crashed to my desktop and i get this error message DirectXencountered an unrecoverble error.

Could you please help whit this issue.

Turn off xfire and try the game again.

If that doesn't work (didn't for me once) restore your system to the day before it happened.

It will work.

*There's also a thread somewhere about that issue, but the only thing that worked for me was shutting down xfire and if that didn't work restoring.

You could also try reinstalling DirectX from the CoD4 dvd, but that will reset all your presets ingame.

If you haven't gotten the 1.1 patch, get it. That fixed the X-Fire problem that I had.

Usually with those issues, a pc restart will fix it.
