I agree with SonicPixel. For us its pretty badass to see them kill some evil people, it almost looks like a video game and COD devs did a good job recreating it.

However, if any of us were there we would have so many thoughts and feeling going through our minds it would be extremely intense and emotional. COD4 can't capture any of that and no game will ever be able to, if a troop were to play COD4 I would imagine it would bring back a lot feelings.

I have no issues with enemy combatants being killed on a field of battle. It's not a case of good vs. evil, not a case of good guys vs. bad guys. If you engage or support the war effort of any power struggling against another you opt to make yourself a participant, and thus a target in war. American soldiers, God bless them, made this choice, insurgents made this choice. It's a case of us vs. them... that simple.
