BF2 has started to freeze/crash

ok, i have been happily playing bf2 for a while now, no problems, but i have started to get this bug almost every game now, where halfway through the game/near the end, the screen just freezes, and i cant get back to the desktop by using ctrl+alt+delete or alt+tab, so i have to restart my computer.

Can someone help me here, how can i stop this?

Just a early guess, sounds like CPU heat if it takes it a while and not random.

blew out your pewter lately? literally i mean, with that dust off stuff? check ur fans make sure working good.
