v1.4 beta 3 patch = FAIL

After working fine yesterday, today I am unable to connect to any server using the beta 3 patch. I am getting an error message 'This Server Only Allows Unmodified Content'

...sigh...

Currently doing the uninstall/reinstall/patch/upgrade to NS/patch yet again for the 4th time in 3 days.

I downloaded a new v1.4 patch (from fileshack this time), and I *hope* it isn't one of the -effed up ones.. (I figure after 3 days they can get the right one uploaded finally).

The same thing is happening to me. I downloaded 3 different patches but none of them work.

...the patch I downloaded from fileshack failed with the UPDATE FAILED message box...

I'll try beta 3 patch again.

Good thing I have dual OC3 connection here at work. Downloading this stuff at 30MB/sec is the only thing that makes me to shrug this off... slightly.

*EDIT: Nice.. now getting a crash to desktop when trying to join a server.

I guess I'll try going the uninstall/reinstall/patch to v1.25/upgrade to NS/patch to v1.40 to see if maybe (!!!MAYBE!!!) that will work.

I have reinstalled bf2142+NS around 5 times today.

Downloaded 1.40 patch from 3 different places, and none of them works. I don't get no "patching failed" errors. My problem is when i start the game i see that starting screen(walker in the middle in suez), after that the screen disappears and nothing happens.

I just can't get what the heck is wrong with this one...

i downloaded mine from the uk site or something it worked perfectly and well yea i havent played for 3 days or something but in my mod it wont save the kits and i got to alt tab out of game each time because mcaffee thinks its a ghey game lol.
