did you have them demo & if so did it run good ?
EDIT***
i done a google on the requirements & this is what i found
Recommended Specs”
CPU: 2.4 GHz dual core or better is recommended
RAM: 1GB for XP; 2GB for Vista is recommended
Harddrive: 8GB of free hard drive space
Video card: 3.0 Shader Support recommended. Nvidia Geforce 7800 or better or ATI Radeon X1800 or better
“Required (min) Specs”
CPU: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 2.4 GHz or AMD(R) Athlon(TM)
64 2800+ processor or any 1.8Ghz Dual Core Processor or better supported
RAM: 512MB RAM (768MB for Windows Vista)
Harddrive: 8GB of free hard drive space
Video card (generic): NVIDIA(R) Geforce(TM) 6600 or better or ATI(R) Radeon(R) 9800Pro or better
so i think your cpu & card arent good enoughComment

yea but the games video works and all so does that mean it can run on my computer. i can get to create player profile then it just closes down. some other people have the same 6200 card and it works for them.Comment

just for the hell of it i double checked my specs on system requirements lab
and i fail the recommended settings due to me running my 4200x2 @2.2ghz instead of 2.4,i might be wrong but im sure this game uses both cores so 4.4ghz effective (or close enough ) is more than capable.
yet i can play the game max out with AA and AF on my 2900xt
with good frame rates.
specs..(a bit old )
asus sli se (939) mobo
2gb ddr 400mhz ram 2x1gb duelchannel
Ati 2900xt pci-e gfx
game runs flawless for me.
(not trying to brag by the way..just offering my as a example of old hardware doing the business on cod4)Comment

you mean the intro video? i dont think the video's mean that your card will work, i mean allmost all cards will play those intro movies. but now i could be wrong, but i think the card + the 1.3 processor just isnt enough.
if its not that then im thinking do a manual uninstall & then reinstall should fix IF its not the card & processor
is this card agp??
that 2900xt is nice card, id say no wonder you should run those really nicejust for the hell of it i double checked my specs on system requirements lab

I have the same graphics card and although it's below spec it does run the game, I'd say that your 1.3ghz cpu just isn't up to the job. If you're able to find your mobo model number ( did you already post that ? ), look on the manufacturers website and find out the maximum speed processor that your board is able to support, you may find that you can slot a faster one in that meets with the minimum requirements. You might even find a cheapie on ebay ?
Let us know how you get on. :salute:
I should have added this to my post above, if you're not sure of your motherboard details, download and install free Belarc Advisor here and look for Main Circuit Board.Comment

thats wat i got from that thing
what can i find on ebay b/c im thinking of getting something to play this gameOriginally posted by UKseagullYou might even find a cheapie on ebay ?
do i have to buy a whole new computer to play this game or can i buy just like a card or something to boost my ghz up so my COMP SPEED can play the gameComment

Yea, I failed the recommended CPU speed with my E6320 only clocking in at 1.82GHz, yet I can run it all on High at 1280x1024 resolution.just for the hell of it i double checked my specs on system requirements lab
and i fail the recommended settings due to me running my 4200x2 @2.2ghz instead of 2.4,i might be wrong but im sure this game uses both cores so 4.4ghz effective (or close enough ) is more than capable.

So it's definitely not that much of a problem if you're lower than the required core speed; assuming you don't have some ancient P1.Comment

seems like u dont know much about computers or u lke to play games at 10 fps.. but nthing lower then a 7800 will run this game good on even low settings..Comment

It looks as though that chipset is used by various makers, can you tell us your motherboard manufacturer ? You may need to open up your case and look at the motherboard itself if you can't find it in the report. You need the manufacturer and if possible your mobo's serial number.Originally posted by Dilldrav14Processor a Main Circuit Board b
