No Love For Snipers

I've been playing COD4 MP, but it's very hard to be a sniper in the game The maps are not ideal for snipers and are full of MP5 whores, *cough Ezekiel *cough I just wish Snipers could of played a bigger role in MP like BF2, etc....

yeah i think only bloc is a sniper friendly map, but sniping sux anyway, hit registration is bad

Crossfire is a good map in general and sniping is possible on it.

Sadly you're right... I miss the old Sniper friendly levels...it's doable in this game but it is frustrating for the most part, on top of the shots not even registering.

There are 2 very sniper freendly maps, the ship one and the missile silo.

I actually enjoy sniping on most maps. I guess for me I'm more of a loner and love to get up front where all the action is. So I will usually close quarter snipe. It's very intense and fun at the same time.

IMO, snipers loose the game for the other team. :box:

I'd like to see a bunch of ported CoD1 maps, just modernized from WWII. Pavlov, Bocage, Brecourt, Hurtgen, Rocket... Lots of good sniping there.

Now that would be cool, where did all those good maps go! I miss playing on good maps like the ones on old CoD 1.
