Direct X problems

I keep getting a direct X problem when i change my graphics settings on the multiplayer for PC. Yes i have the latest version but still everytime i change my resolution and click apply it crashes and says Direct X has encountered a problem thats unrecoverable. Any solutions out there?

What are your full system specs? You say you have the latest version but its always good just to check, using this tool.

I had the same problem when running xfire. ^ do what he says.

hes right.....or close any other programs and xfire and u should be good
