direct x ctd

ok my game has been workin fine and now i ctd when i try to get into a server cuz of direct x. it says see readme but idk ware that is or what to do. i did run in safe mode and adjust my settings for my computer. can some one please help me

Did you try to adjust your resolution, or just whenever you join a server?

when i join a server, i fixed it by restarting my computer. but its gonna happen again im sure.

What are your full system specs?

i am having the same problem. It keeps happening. Mostly in Modwars. CTD with a Direct X error message.

HP pentium 4 HT 3.0Ghz, 2G DDR2 RAM, Nvidia 7600GT 256M PCIe, windows xp sp2,

I have had no problems until this evening.
