so i buy my game through steam and its the 12th ,why cant i play it

exactly like i said on the topic,i buy it through steam.it said buy now for prelease and play it on the 12th.its the (nov,12) i live in pacific time and it still says preload complete and the game will be avaible to play when it comes out.whats up with that i pay and i still cant play.
