i just bought the game, i click on multiplayer and it shows no servers up at all.. i click refresh and it sez waiting for master server to respond or something like that.. but just stays on that for ever... i left it for about an hour and nothing changed..

what am i supposed to do to be able 2 go online with it?

please help me out guys

Are you sure your firewall isn't blocking it? Or maybe you need to open some router ports (Not sure if you have to with this game).

It was doing this with me too, i ended up reinstalling and it fixed it.

It's been happening lately, you just have to try later or add some favorites to your list to join.

This is happening to me, it just says waiting for response from master server but no servers get listed. have left it for 30 min and still same. wtf do i need to do? i have disabled firewall, still no servers show? anything else im missing?

yh i have disabled firewall, reinstalled game, nothing, even added my clan server 2 favourites and still doesnt show that...

ok i got it sorted, what i did was start up cod4 multiplayer, then minimised it, then disabled my firewall, refreshed list and all servers started showing. I then reenabled firewall and accepted the warning to let cod4 have full trusted access and now works perfect.

Sure your ports are open? (are there ports for CoD4?) Maybe a router issue?

Yeah most likely a firewall problem, I never had it since I installed it.
