Christmas came early: Titan Destruction gold for 38 consoles

I was pretty amazed when the 2142 rewarded me for titan destruction badge gold couple of days ago even when I still have only 38 consoles destroyed. I was trying to hog those consoles to make the final push towards this one when the 40 consoles destroyed requirement would be met. I was mentally imagining the pain and sheer luck needed to be able to score 3+1 when the reqs would have been met, so you can imagine my surprise for getting it.

I waited for couple of days for stats to "catch up" if that would have been the case, but no, still 38 pieces.

Not complaining here by no means, but anybody else gotten this one? I heard other badge glitches but never heard of this badge flipping. What are my chances of getting a second one?

I finally was afflicted with the private bug the other day.

Ended the round with 1600+ points of awards (Titan commander badges and ribbon)..

I got my NS Service Gold with only 3/4 hours played, and my Goliath Ribbon with only 1:50 :p

Anyway Congrats. I have gotten this particular badge 3 times (for each of my soldiers), but it is a somewhat difficult one nonetheless :)

I blew up 3+1 in that game but just wanted to quickly finish the round thus blowing up the core with bunch of dudes and voila. So I met the IAR reqs but not the 40 consoles.

I've gotten a 2000 point ribbon twice and a 500 point ribbon 4 times (you just gotta love the private bug)

I never understood why this badge was deemed so hard to get, I think it was the first gold I got back when I wasnt even an officer. Just go on a small titan server and after a few attempts you should get it.

I got my 1 problem solver pin on a server like that. No one defending on a (I think) 16 man titan server.

Walked in, blew up all 4 consoles and the core using my support guy.

Unfortunately, didn't have the 38.. er, 40 consoles pre-reqs.

Welcome to the club. 'Tis indeed a hard one to get. Strangely enough, I still have not gotten my gold titan attack or defend badges yet.

Titan defend gold is two times easier to get since you can get a pretty hefty headstart using titan ground cannons (plus titan AA) to make titan defend points. Because you get rewarded a kill based on where YOU are at the moment the enemy dies because of your actions. The same is true about attacking (you can shoot people on the ground standing on titan and you get the attack/defend +1 depending whether you are on your own titan or enemy's).
