Call of Duty 4 any good

Anyway, Has any one got call of duty 4 and is it any good or better than BF2

Is the game the same as BF2 with leader board and awards or just like a shoot as many as you can without all the other sort of things like leader board and awards

It's a big baserape game. No teamwork. Once u die that's it.

I was going to buy Call of Duty 4 before BF2. I already had pre-ordered it and then I quickly learned I can't use any vehicles in it (and most COD games). I started comparing it to Unreal Tournament 3's capture the flag maps and got pissed off that they wouldn't let you drive any tanks or anything. That's when I found Battlefield 2 and been happy ever since.

You can in UT3, but in Vehicle CTF mode.

Infact, on a few maps of deathmatch etc, there are vehicles.

Stats system is terrible.

Weapons are worthless.

Graphics are good, though...so people will say it's an amazing game.

If you don't like the CoD series...pass.

If you like BF2, and are looking for something like it...pass.

Did you get out of bed the wrong side??? Thank you to the rest who gave me some idea about COD 4 and I am thinking twice in getting the game sound like you play as one and die as one much like the old COD games. Now to answer your ignorant comment Since both BF2 and COD 4 are set to present day military situation (big word I know) thought that COD may have copied the likeness of BF2. Tell me how did your comments help me? Don't bother you come back with some kinda dumb remark :nod: :laugh:

Not in cod4 they fixed that.. when you die you can become top of you're team. The base is alway's moving to where most of your team is so you do not need to worry about that.. It is the best inf game you can buy.. BF2 is good but cod4 is all about inf. it is a very good game you should check it out. if you did not like cod2 you still have a chance of liking cod4 but you prolly will not.. I really don't get why ppl are bashing it here, it is much better in BF2 in alot of way's.. another good thing are the weapon's... they all work very good in there own way.. and alot of people are bitching about the rank system so dont buy the game becuase of that.. the rank system is more there to tell if you are a noob or not that is it. alot od differnt game mode's so you are bound to like one of them.. I like most of them they are all fun..

yeah alot of theres ppl here have never played the game I guess cuz everything they are saying applys to cod2 not cod4.... I mean if you liked bf2 cod4 is alot better..

The thing about COD4 is the singleplayer ability. Those singleplayer missions look so nice.
