Disconnected from server

Latest Drivers installed: what ever is on nvidias site right now
XP Home
Anti-Virus: none / firewall: none
ISP: Wide Open West 6mb connection

Ok, I have no problems with any of my other multi-player games. I try to join servers in BF2 and I get in the server then 5-60 seconds later I get disconnected from the server. Some servers I can stay connected too but the majority I get disconnected.

I can't find a solution anywhere, I am about to give up BF2 and just play COD4 all the time

well, first of all, do you have the latest version of punkbuster?

also, it would help to figure out the problem if you could include the error message u get when you get disconnected. or is it just "you have been disconnected from the server"?
