    2 PCs, one copy.

Okay, i live at 2 houses. I want the same account on both of them, not 2 different ones.

account 1: is already major in rank, and has completed alot of the challenges. it is on computer 1.

account 2: is still a low rank, with not alot on it. it is on computer 2.

how can i get account 1 to play on BOTH computers?

i have used the same CD key and same copy of cod4 on both computers, but it doesn't let me access one account. (in simpler terms, i want to be able to play on the same account like you could in BF2)

is there anyway i can play with account 1 on the same computer? such as copy and pasting the profile details under D:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\players\profiles\

If it's the same CD Key on both PC's, then in theory after you finish playing on PC #1, you can save your MP profile data, then either put it on a flash drive to take with you or email it to yourself to access again at the other house.

When you get to the other house, you then paste that file over the existing one.

When you're done playing on PC #2, repeat the process - save the data again, transfer it over to PC #1, and paste it over the old data.

    Rinse and repeat.

I doubt the MP data is kept on the client... that way anyone could edit it themselves and be anything they wanna be.

mpdata is saved on your machine. and it will eventually get edited. notice you don't have to log in when you play online? to the op. copy that mpdata file to your other computer.

It is kept on the client, as an encrypted file tied to your CD Key.

Can it be hacked? Yeah, probably, but there's very little benefit.
