punkbuster enabled error

Ok i have searched this topic and cant really find anything answering it.

Ok so when i log in bf2 everything is fine, and i can play single player no problem.

But when i click multiplayer and try to join a server it says, "This server requires players to enable PunkBuster."

Ok i just updated punkbuster and it still says that.

So any help?


ANOTHER QUESTION: When i launch bf2 from xfire and try to log in it just says contacting acc. server or whatever....it never goes in my acc. But when i go to start menu and go to my computer>C:>program files>EA GAMES>battlefield2> bf2 it works

The game path for xfire is the same thing except the last bf2 part cause its not listed.

Well, for Punkbuster, there is a small icon next to the "Join Game" button. It says "Punkbuster" and has a retarded picture of some dude with a mohawk. Press the selection button next to it, and that should enable Punkbuster.
