Righ,t I've just got the game today and played through the SP campaign, works all fine. MP, no probs at all apart from the connection issues every now and then.

My question is, is there something like a buddy list or can you influence the server list using filters like in BF2/142 and can you connect via IP and how do you do it?

Bring down the console and type:
connect *insert IP*
It might be /connect or connect. It's been the same console command to connect through IP since CoD1.

In case some people are wondering to bring down the consle use this key ~, to the left of the 1 key and right below the escape key. Oh and right above the tab key.

Right, now I can't connect to any server whatsoever :S

Are there any ports that need forwarding?

I think right now IW is having problems with the master server maybe. My friend and from what I have read over the past few days other people are having the same problem. I will try myself when I get home for lunch and post back.

odd, isnt the cod 4 servers owned by ea? cuz on xbox live it says EA blah blah blah infinity ward blah blah blaH, btw i dont get disc on xbox live

I was able to get a few servers under HQ mode not sure about the other modes.

the whole MP server issue is screwed up, alot of people are having problems with it. It's either the server list doesn't show up, or you get a 10 second time out, or you get a message saying " awaiting key code verification ".
