All I had to do is plug in a microphone.. that easy.. i was so ticked when i found out it was that easy.... after two days of installing and reinstalling and downloading.. err.. o well.. MP is awsome.. does this help you?

Well i'll be damed. just brought a 2nd copy for the mrs comp (not a big gamer) i had this prob and i dont believe that plugging the mic fixed it.

Heh... i've just bought the game today and had funny problems with this game.
What worked for me was downloading and installing the latest drivers for my soundcard.
I did it, rebooted, then my comp was useless!
I turned off the comp. Put it on and now it works fine, and COD4 Mp works fine... weird computers... if you have a Realtek soundcard, tri to get the drivers from the site. For mine "realtek high definition audio", i had one from November 19th, seems to work fine.Comment
