Already been done. I saw a vibrating one in the thrift store about a year ago. Not a bad idea, but I think 3d shutter glasses will give you more immersion.

You know, a vibrating gaming vest. I guess it plugs into your speakers. Sure the one mentioned is more high tech, but no one really wants to put on a vest to play games unless it's VR or something.

What the heck would you want that for? What, show your girlfriend your bruises, 'yeah honey, I was playing BF2'. How about if it slammed you against the wall everytime a nade went off and killed you. Probably wouldn't want to play very many IO Karkands after that. Thats gotta be the silliest thing I've heard yet.

with computer games becoming more and more popular/realistic, why don't the ppl that want this join the army? then they can have their shootemup fun while feeling the bullets. and when each new war(game) comes out, they woulnd't have to buy a new computer.

Haha, there was a PurePwnage episode that the post before mine reminded me off, when FPS Doug was talking about going into the army so he could play CSS in real life. Then he remembered that of course, "if there was lag in the field then i'd die..."

that was gonna be my point, all this would be is another item on the market that will get slated by health officers. it will no doubt have to be shipped with a "do not use if you or any close relatives have ever had or been told they might sufferfrom heart problems. also do not use if you occasionally get muscle spasms. not for use on small children as they may not be able to withstand the shock/ pain."
the only place i could see this being a big success is on those multiplayer arcade games, as its a bit of fun with ya mates whilst your out. but to kit yourself up with this at home i think would be a bit sad. besides, i thought the whole idea of the games its configured for is to be the shooter and not the target
