    Loading Runtime Error

I'm going to say it's a runtime error for 2 reasons. One, the loading screen stops for ten minutes at a time, and because it doesn't crash but gets stuck, and sometimes keeps moving, but too slowly for this to be normal.

I try to load any map, and it gets stuck at 61 and 62%, loading the geometries. This is a recent thing, because I had it working before, I reinstalled and tried again, this tells me there's something wrong with my computer, not BF2 specifically. I have a Gateway 3.2 GHZ Pentium D 500GB HDD 2 gigs DDR2 and a BFG 8600 GTS OC. I downloaded the new display driver when I played the Crysis singleplayer demo last month.

And after posting this, the map still has not fully loaded. SIXTY-TWO Percent DEAD.

EDIT- What the, I reloaded the map and it worked now...well this error happened to me like ten times before the reinstall and 2 after so...something must still be wrong.

Once again it's stopped working, I can't play any of the maps!!!!! WHY 62%????

Roll back your video driver. Mine did the same thing with the new drivers for the Crysis demo.

Would it have anything to do with installing the 1.41 patch wrong? I heard the old version has a memory leak.

AS soon as I rolled back the nVidia drivers, it worked like a charm.

As for the slow login, you are bookmarking your favorite servers. Don't argue, you are I am wiling to bet. Open up your profile folder in my documents then open your general.com file with notepad. Delete anything that starts with GeneralSettings.addServerHistory XXXXXXX, save the file, then right click on ot and make it read-only. Play.

EDIT: If you really want to speed up your logins, add +restart 1 to the target on the shortcut.

the good old 62% strikes again ... change your video setting and i garantee it will happen again. delete your BF@ cache c:/my docoments/user/battlefield 2 ... or somethin like that, you will have to re-enter in your playing name and password, reset all your settings like sound, video and customised controls open up a game it will pause on 62% but after it gets through it everything should load better from there on
