FPS comand help

I know is cg_drawfps1 but what do i do afte i put it in, hit enter? Cause nothign happens when i do. I know i have to open the console and i do an the pop ups show up saying about all 4 options, once i put the number and hit enter nothign happens? What am i doing wrong? Help guys. :salute:

Make sure you use /cg_drawfps 1 if you're in multiplayer so you don't "say" it. And there's a space between the cg_drawfps and the 1.
