Installation problem

1. Be patient and wait for it to start. If it takes more than 3 minutes to start, step 2.
2. Type services.msc in the "run" command bar in the start menu. Scrll down to windows installer. Right click on it and hit start. Close window and try to install BF2 again.

ive had this problem lately

1. i can still play BF2 but its rly laggy but when i put my disc in and it comes up with the autorun thingy, it says install and exit?

2. when i try and install it, it says install sheild is going to guide you through the rest of the installation process and then after that it just disappears


any help would be much appreciated
