Multiplayer Functionality - Help!

Hey Gang...

Quick question about Call of Duty 4 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Does anyone know if you can play LAN style between 2 consoles, with 2 players on each television screen, for a total of 4 players (Like you can on Gears of War)? I'm trying to decide which version to get, and if they'll both function the same i'll probably go PS3.

I'm pretty sure the 360 version can do it. I think there is an option in the split screen settings for LAN. Check it out...I'm not sure though.

Hey. Can you connect to the COD 4 server on the PS3? Cause when I try to play online I select a match and it says like it's trying to connect to matches and nothing happens. Nothing comes up and I don't know why. COD 3 works fine on my PS3 for online, but this doesn't. Any reason why? If you can help I'd really appreciate it!!!! PLEASE HELP! Thank you!

No Split Screen System Link

FYI if anyone is curious you CANNOT do split screen on one console and then system link up with another local machine. Damn you Infinity Ward!
