PC Update: Connection Issues w/ Activision Master Server

Hey Guys -

Wanted to give you a heads up if you are experiencing some issues with 'Connection Time Out' or other misc server errors at the moment.

This is related to some minor issues with Activision's Master Server causing some packet lost and connection errors. This is currently being addressed as we're going to move over all those responsibilities to a new non-virtual server we're setting up here at Infinity Ward however keep in mind it will take some time for the DNS to update for everyone and propagate the changes so you may continue to see some issues until it has fully propagated to each of you guys.

I wonder how that will take... Well, at least IW jumps on the problem.

Follow up, posted at 3:30 pm Pacific (6:30 pm Eastern), again from 402:

We've already set up the new server, and noticed people being propped within 5 mins. So most servers should be updated rather quickly.
