C4ing yourself to the Hotel Roof

Ok, awhile back i was playing with this squad, and about early to mid way through the game the leader gets on the roof of the building next to it, u know, the building with those ramps for veichles and that kinda fence around it, the really low fence?, well he takes some C4 on the roof, stands over it, BLOWS IT UP, and he gets to the roof, and ive tried over and over again in singleplayer to do it, and everytime i get close but still am short, so can any1 help me out?

best places are near the flag so your between the flag poll & the wall and put down all packs of c4 and blast off you should land nicely on the roof without the paracute,,

or theres round the back in the indent in the building sort of standing on the kirb 5 packs should be same as above,

well, for one, using all of the c4 helps....that, and jumping before detonating

If you stand directly on the C4, you will go straight up.

If you stand to one side, you will go out that way.

The further you are from it, the more sideways movement from the point of explosion you will have.

Make sure Friendly Fire is off too.

When Friendly Fire is Off you cannot directly kill yourself or hurt/kill teammates, you can put c4 at your feet and launch yourself (or teammates - that's why I avoid FF Off servers, waiting for a vehicle on the carrier and gone to get a drink and find yourself somewhere in the water).

Could you actually ram the armour before pressing the button of doom and you would walk out of the burning wreckage like the Terminator???
