Some Spreadsheets

Well, I was at Chili's last night, and I had a 20 minute wait. I could see the Gamestop nearby and couldn't resist...so I went in there. Just as I walk in, I see the cashiers opening a box. They took out about 10 brand new CoD4 strategy guides. They were irresistible, and I bought one. I started reading it while waiting for me food. I liked all the information given and decided to make some Spreadsheets in Excel. Here are the first five I made...Weapons, Attachments, Perks, Ranks to unlock, and Maps. The ranks required one is really big, so I will only post the direct link.

Weapons (all available in MP, some aren't in SP):

Unfortunately they classified it as an SMG in the game.

Could you list the order of unlocks by rank? It'd be easier with the spreadsheet already than trying to use an image myself :).

It is classified as a assault rifle. The M21 can be silenced, or at least in the game it can. There is a picture of the guide of an suppressed M21.

Could you list the order of unlocks by rank? It'd be easier with the spreadsheet already than trying to use an image myself :).

Nice, thanks! It looks like I'll be using the M4 for a long time because the high up ARs (G36C, M14, MP44) are way up there.

it is indeed incorrect because it says that all of those guns cant use a front grip, when they most certainly can!

Yes, for some reason they wanted to put it in as a tribute to the other CoD's. I wanted more modern guns.

hmmm well i dont the full weapons list, and i cant get the spreadsheets coz of network limitations, so i couldn't suggest a weapon that i'd prefer, but i'm guessing that theres enough weapons so i probably wont use it too much unless its extremely good

I am talking about attachments that you can choose to be added to your gun. Most weapons can be equipped with a fore grip in real life, but in the game, not all of them can.

Nice lists. Thanks for putting in the effort to do all that.

Keep in mind, strat guides often contain some errors as well. One that I spot, is that they list Prestige Mode kicking in at level 55. From all we've heard from IW, including Grant Collier himself in interviews, the game goes up to level 65, and then Prestige Mode becomes available.

So, there may be some changes to the weapons/attachments/when perks are available as well.

I think Grant made a mistake with the 65. In the interview where he describes it on GameHead, the "player" that was shown going through prestige mode with a rank of 55.
