Patch 1.41 Problem

Hi,

I tried to re-install BF2 after a recent format. But now after installing I am unable to apply Patch 1.41.
When I double click on the patch it doesn't open. Only in my Task manager it displays for like 30 seconds and then disappears. Giving it some time doesn't help either. Is this a corrupt patch? Should I redownload? because I have used it before to update my BF2
