The clark owns but always make sure theres a medic hub near ya or else you wont get as many deaths, I once went 19-0 without noticing on camp gib with the clark, I was like damn! ended 56-11 or sumat...no screeny cause I don't like having more then 5 deaths...

I used to think that the lack of a medic hub was a big disadvantage, but I changed my mind.- Usually you will either kill the enemy with your first shot and lose little health, or you will miss and get killed. The medic hub makes little difference in that case
- If you really need a Med Hub, the dead Vosser in front of you will always carry one

Too true, nothing more satisfying then dropping his own medic hub on top of his corpse and then using the commo rose to say 'Thanks'I used to think that the lack of a medic hub was a big disadvantage, but I changed my mind.- Usually you will either kill the enemy with your first shot and lose little health, or you will miss and get killed. your team lost!! so what was the point? IMO a single player's outstanding performance does not equal out not supporting the team for victoryComment

QFT! That is what I do. I used to hate being without a medic hub as well, but why carry one when you can "find" them :P I'll kill assaults then run to them, swap kits real quick, drop me some health and get my gun back and "Thanks" 'em. Then I'm off to kill someone else. I've found that I'm mainly sticking with the support kit. The IDS is invaluable. The shotgun is what I use when capping silos.
Titan Defense:
Clark/Ganz, Sentry Gun, IDS-1
Clark - running around on the Titan killing people. I only do this when there are already people in the corridors defending and don't need another support.
Ganz - backed towards the console, about next to it, on the floor with my crosshairs trained on the doorway into my corridor about top chest/neck level (let the recoil hit the head, if they live that long..).
Titan Attack:
Clark/Ganz, RDX Shotgun, IDS-1
Clark - same as before, but getting to consoles and blowing them up with my rdx shotgun.
Ganz - same as above, but for long range fire and when I'm with a recon, I'll play an actual support and cover role there.
When I'm capping silos, I've usually got an APC with an IDS stuck to it and got my shotgun ready to take out anyone too close to my APC if I can't get away from 'em quick enough.Comment

The skill with Clark lies in knowing when to shoot and not, getting close to your enemies and of course have good aim (since you'll have to deal with bunnyhoppers and other moving targets)
It is insanely effective at close range and it should be (it's a shotgun duh)Comment

I'm a medic man myself, but I use the clark all the time, it's a pretty great gun, but to be honest, I use it for the Radar beacon, since I mainly cap flags, or defend (I generally don't wander "into the action" I like to move all the way to the back of the map and start capping, having the radar deployed makes it so much easier to know when someone is approaching.
Also, I wanted to comment on the Away bonus, you don't have to take that long of a break, I don't play for three or four days and I get 50-100 points in away bonus. What it is, the game takes your average score per minute, and figures out how many points you would have gotten while you were playing, so being away for months doesn't mean you get a ton of points when you come back, it just applies the formula for more rounds, you get an away bonus after missing just one day of action, but you may only get it for one or two rounds.Comment

hmmm i wonder what other guns "noob weapon" has been applied before.
the clark currently requires quite a great deal of skill due to its slow RoF. Many non-clarkers complain about its one-shot kill, but many inevitably forget that if that shot fails, the clarker is likely dead.
personally i find that clarking successfully really depends on a low-ping server for me. >100 ping, i usually end up blasting the shotty too late and dying.Comment

Post 1.40 clark question.
What did they improve? Everyone seems to rave about it now. I haven't had a chance to try out 1.4 yet.
Before 1.25 clark was perfect and fulfilled the role admirably which is close quarters. Many clarkers were pretty much in deep end caught in the open.Comment
