i kno we're all waiting for beta2 to come out but i havent seen a whole lot of ppl on insurgency. i use to play a bit when it first came out but it wasnt happy with my system and the clan i joined just for insurgency died.

It's a great mod but I haven't played a lot regularly. It has a bit of a learning curve to get used to so the community doesn't benefit as much from casual players just picking up the game.
At the last LAN I went to we had a server up and some of us tried to get a game going, but nobody there had played much so they just ran around confused while I picked them off at a distance. Unfortunately that got people discouraged and we never got much over 5 players. :-/
Hopefully beta 2 will revitalize the community though, and maybe the enhanced GUI, and objective/teammate indicators will make it a little easier to pick up.
Kind of weird that the front page of TotalHL hasn't been updated with the announcement of the INS release date though. (This Week)Comment
