    Ping

    Hey,

Is There Any Way At ALL I Can Reduce My Ping Like Anything To Do With A faster Computer?... I Have An Allright Setup, But I Live In This Little Town, And I Came Up To This City And Went To An Internet Cafe And Played BF2 My Ping Was 9. Whenever I PLay On This Server Mines Like 60-80 And Its The Same ISP (Xtra), Is It Because The Exchange PLace Or Whatever For Broadband Is Probably In That City???, We Live Like 2 Hours Away From There, They Were Pretty Cool COmputers At The Net Cafe...

P.S: Anyone Know Where I Can Buy Half Life And CS;S Off The Net Via Pay-Pal?? Noone Sells Them Here In NZ

PING is related to the internet connection not the computer it self

A 60 ping isnt terrible, if it is spiking up might be a little bit harsh.

Get a DSL line, hardwired in your home to hook your pewter too. ONly way to game IMO.

hardwired is slightly better as it is usually alot more stable.

u can buy CS:source and other games on steam, which i would say is the easiest.

the only thing i can think of is by updating ur network drivers

Hard wired just figure of speech meaning it has a actuall "hard wire" to make it work, not wireless in other words.......

you should have a ISP around that has DSL??or at the worst that God forsaken cable....blahhhhh only if DSL isnt available would i take it. it peaks & falls too much:salute:
