Will this future setup work?

Well I'm going to be getting a laptop soon and am really looking to get on so I can continue to play my PC games, primarily BF2 and BF2142.

I'm looking at getting the following, and was wondering if you guys could tell me if it will be able to handle BF2 and on what settings.

Dell Insprion 1520
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz
Windows Vista Home Edition
4GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz
160GB 5200RPM hard drive
256MB GeForce 8600M GT

About the ram, I am ok with 2,3 or 4GB just which one would be most efficient with that setup?

Also, if I was to go with the XPS which comes with the 128MB GeForce 8400GS would that be able to run bf2 and on what settings?

If you get Vista, get at least the 64-bit version and 4gb of RAM.

I know the system requirments, but will the game run smoothly on the above setup (The Inspiron). Also, will it run on a 128MB GeForce 8400GS?
