I have a slightly modified way of weapon switching. I have my primary weapon bound to my front-side mouse button. It just feels like clicking a selector switch on a rifle. My zboard makes using the numbers fairly easy, too. So I use a combination of numbers, scroll, and my front-side mouse button for my weapons. If I know I'm going to play a particular kit for a long period of time, I'll bind other weapons to other mouse buttons. Example: if I know I'll be playing anti-tank a lot, I bind the AT missile to my middle mouse button to make it easier to access. Or I'll bind my defibs to it if i'm playing medic a lot. It's just a matter of preference and situation for me.

I've just got a new mouse, so I've put all the different weapons assigned to different buttons. :)

Wow, I'm surprised that F is the least used when I thought it would be used the most to change weapons. I think pressing numbers can get annoying and sometimes you can mess up and pull out the wrong weapon. You can tap F really fast and just choose the weapon you want. I do use numbers though when I'm in a safe area and just need a particular weapon.

I changed F to the parachute because I hate reaching for the 9 button. So that one isn't even an option for me.

I've never really thought of using F. Just seems inefficient having to select a other items before getting to the one you want. It's like using C to cycle through views.
