Disabling the help audio?

"to jump, press the space bar" etc, I just reinstalled the game and I can't take listening to them all again.

I know its possible I just can't remember how and search just brings up people asking for help with sound

Please someone tell me how to disable it.

Or you could just set the voice over volume in the audio settings to 0. That's what I do. The box still appears, but there's no voice.
