Cannot get expansion packs to work

Ok here's my problem. I bought the disk version of Battlefield 2 Collection. I installed everything as mentioned in the manuel and I have both the regular bf2 icon and the bf2 SF icon. I am having a problem with the booster packs. I went to the site and activated them with my Flyersin08 account and I got the message saying to log in to bf2 and the servers should be available. I logged in and all the AF/EF servers are red. I installed patch 1.41 after I registered. Can anybody helped.

when u go to play it open the green battlefield two icon and not the red.. are u doing that?

I tried both. The green icon only has the SF maps and the red one only has the regular maps with the AF/EF maps in red.

maybe people just havent made servers for them?

The servers are there in the regular bf2 and there are people playing in them but when I click join server it says CD key is invalid when I registered it. I posted something in the bf2 forums and sent EA an email.

to be honest with u dude the best help ur going to get on this type of situation would be to call EA helpline..they will talk u through step by step in setting up ur booster packs..then if it doesnt work they will have to send u out a replacement cd and key

Everything is working fine. I fixed it with help from the battlefield forums.

Getting pretty sick of EA already.

After receiving my complete collection today I made my new account, and went to register the booster packs. EA.com wasn't recognising my new account and asked me to create one with my email so I did. Went to enter the promo code at http://account.ea.com/commerce/bf2bp/code-entry.jsp to register my booster packs and it's telling me to enter a valid promo code.

In other words; my code isn't working..

I see lot's of other people had this problem, but no matter what page I attempt to register it on, it always leads me back to the one I listed above, which gets me nowhere.

Pretty freaking furious.

remember for EF/AF you have to register your bf2 nick to play those expansions. (SF should work though, if its installed and your patched):

That doesn't work for me, it has my key tied to another account already, which is funny since I got the key directly from EA... Funny that they would issue duplicate keys, their tech support ignored all 5-6 of my emails.
