Games not starting

Well yea my computer has been really retarded lately, like it changed resolutions when i restarted and other stuff. So when i try to launch bf2 that little menu with the tank thing and says battlefield 2 on it comes up, and then my screen goes black, then like 2 seconds later it goes back to my desktop.


So i tried CSS it said preparing to launch CSS.... then nothing happens and it goes to your profile menu thing that u select games from..

So yea i dont no if i have a virus or i need to update something or what...

ima go find a antivirus program right now

Funny, EXACTLY the same thing happened to me, too. After changing video settings, the game would not start - all I'd get was the splash screen. A complete uninstall & reinstall (BF2-SF-Booster packs-4.1 patch) solved the issue. Kinda drastic, but hey, it helped.
