no, actually Im not worried about the stats
as I told Signa, Im more worried about reputation, and I know that really isnt a big deal either because I dont really know most of the people I play with, and the ones I do know will know the truth, but I play on a lot of servers that stream the MBL and I dont want to get banned from my favorite servers for bogus accusations

no need to panic. psb just bans pb guids, no nicks. the pb guid cant be spoofed by such tools, so you're safe. but it's possible you might get a reset. ea performed a reset for a top 10 player a while who got smurfed (shows how skilled the ea staff is :laugh: ).

The best way to combat this hack is to play mods. No stats = No stats to be wiped. :)

maybe he wants his unlocks, or...maybe he just likes stats, like 90% of the people out there.

I believe you keep the unlocks just not the ranks.

you obviously dont know, but fyi, there are alot of people that can hack ANYTHING and if you thing that because PB put a "Globally Unique" tag on their ID that it cant be hacked then you sir are.........naive

There was a guy on the =HH= Wake server last night, he was b!tching about Chaos.Haze hacking in the F35 because Chaos shot down his J10. Well the guy leaves and guess who shows up....ErwinRommel as a 4 star general, but he had a score before he even spawned....which is weird because how else do you get points if you JUST entered the game. So, me being the cocky trouble maker that I am,
I type in: "hey everyone look, Erwinrommel just joined the server" "are you the real Erwin or the a$$hole that got him busted?"
he replied: "LOL no Im really him"
me: "thats funny, I played with him a while ago and he didnt speak english"
me: "I think your a hacking little b!tch and you should just leave"
him: "No Im really him, Im Erwin"

the whole time Chaos and a few others are dissin the guy pretty good, so the guy leaves, comes back as..........

now he starts with the "I just kicked Erwin for hacking, Im having his stats reset tomorrow" But this nub sh!t had the same score as Erwin when he left.
So I do my little alt-tab out of the game and look up this PunkBusterAdmin#1 on BF2Player and get his PID......turns out, its ErwinRommels PID also. So I really start on this guy to the point the admin wanted to kick ME for language. Me and Chaos tried to tell the admin that this guy was hacking but the admin didnt care. Then Mr.PB Admin tells me......."your next Gunslinger, your getting your stats wiped soon too" I told him to fug off and he replied "you'll be reset by the end of the week" and he left the server. After he left, one of the players on the other team said the guy told everyone in his squad that he has a hack that can hijack someones PID and then he can change his name to anything he wants and not get caught, when they didnt believe him, he told them to watch.....well he proved he could do it and they didnt want to say anything to him because they didnt want him to hijack their account either.

So my question to you guys is this,
should I be worried about being falsely accused? should I have kept my mouth shut? is this what its coming down to, cant say nothing to the hackers or they hack your account too?
I mean WTF? I try and do the right thing by trying to get a hacker who is one-shot killing people from across the map kicked from a server to make everyone elses time better and I might get the ax for it now.
I think the only thing I got going for me is Chaos and another guy (a 1 Star General from BF2s I think) saw this whole thing go down on the server.

He probably just doesn't like your truck.....

sorry, but being a 3 star in game gets me more flack then respect, occasionally yeah I get a few low rank players that show respect even if its not warranted, but usually when I kill someone more than once its "loser get a life" type of sh!t

I'm a colonel now, with only 800 hours of game time, and I get about as much respect as a Private does.

You don't earn respect in this game, only contempt from jealous a-s-s-holes.

Project Reality has a far better community.

they can only spoof the pb guid on the pbss, but a skilled admin will find out the real pb guid of the cheater to ban him without a problem.
