So it takes more than 2 weeks to build a new pc? I mean I'm not a computer geek like the rest of you kids here and it still took me only one afternoon.

True enough but its not as simple as that.

First of all the server is out in the world somewhere away from you

Then you have the option of paying big bucks for some techie to look at it to see whats wrong with it or send it back home.

Clearly a lot of discussion was done over this and in the end the server is to be sent to texas now.

After it goes through Sweden and back to texas, they still have to look at whats wrong with it.

Then they need to shop for new parts and make sure the bills are paid for by the server.

Then you need to give it a new home somewhere in texas.

All in all, as simple as it seems, there is a lot of paperwork to be done and you want the cheapest price you can get even if it means sacrificing a week or two for it.
