Multiplayer games need a lobby. In 2005 I remember I was big into StarCraft and the transition to BF2 and SWAT4 was hard because of the strongest features of SC, the lobby, was missing. Wouldnt it be cool to have a chatroom-esque (anyone remembers when in the 90s, chatrooms were a big hit? Before any MSN or whatnot) lobby for people to chat, talk smack or even plan before they hit the game. There would be a universal lobby for everyone whos logged on at once, divided into different sections, sublobbies based on their location and region. Then there would be a lobby for each server.
Before people start with shooting down the idea with technicalities, think about Jesus, God and sheeple, and how we have been able to overcome anything so far and just focus on the idea of a sandbox like area where we can all talk sh!t to each other without the need to use the games chatscreen to do so.
