  • problem with sf installation Arrrrr :S

hi guys i'm a newpie in this forum and and i really need ur help
i'll explain da problem from the beginning

first i got bf2(core game) which worked well and i wanted 2 upgrade 2 sf
so i downloaded the sf torrent file (including patch 1.1)
then i mounted da image using daemon tools and run the cd
first it began with patching (which took long time) then it install sf....
after sf installation i tried 2 run da game but the screen went black for a second then return to desktop!! so i sow some review which told me 2downloaded "Battlefield 2: Special Forces [ALL] No-DVD/Fixed Image #2" from this site "http://www.gamecopyworld.com/"
then i mounted da image(after i unmounted the first one)

and again when i run bf2 or sf the screen went black and return 2 desktop

is there is something i did wrong??

PLZ guys any help will be appreciated:salute:

note : my bf2 was located in D directory and my C drive was almost full. during patching an error occurred say that there is no enough space !!
so i change the reg of "program files" 2 another drive but C and it works.
    any problem with this method?

    my pc info:

    3 Ghz P4 processor
    512 RAM
    windows XP (sp2)
    nividia Geforce Fx 5500

Unless all you like is playing single player, start with buying the damn game.

Yeah, buying BF2 and downloading SF isn't gonna do much for you. Just go out and buy the thing. If you downloaded BF2 as well, I would start off with buying the BF2 "Chest" which comes with BF2, BF2:SF, and both booster packs, AF, and EF.

The patch is probably trying to unpack itself in your C: drive. Try to free up a few GB, if for no other reason than to make room for the page file/ room for defragging.
