I got HL2 for £10 yesterday just to give it a go.
The game isnt bad so far i guess, just seems like a 3d mario (running through the level clearing bad guys if you happen to see them)
However the main reason i got it was for insurgency mod. I saw videos of this on youtube and thought it looked great.
Well, my first day i was cursing it because i sucked, it IS almost too real and can seem a little slow and pointless at some points but overall it is fun.
I think id LOVE a game which was a cross breed between insurgency and BF2.
Anyone else play Insurgency?
On a sidenote....the VOIP thing gets annoying if you have morons cursing you.....i was the last guy on my team as a sniper and id just sniped one guy and taken another out with my pistol...baring in mind it was something like 8 on one....then 6 on one with my kills at the end.....i obviously died, and some guy said "oh wow..thanks for playing...give the sniper rifle to someone else if you cant use it"...even though i was 4th out of the whole team and he was somewhere closer to the bottom.
